Hi there! I’m Katherine, but I also go by Katie. I have a degree in Journalism and political science. I’ve always been interested in the functions of government and how policy can change people’s lives. I got to experience that firsthand when I interned in Albany, New York covering state politics. During my short time in the professional world so far, I have realized that my purpose is in something greater. I am pursuing a law degree so that I can not just tell the stories, I can be part of fixing the issues that create the stories. People everywhere deserve a life of dignity – and it’s up to us to grab the reins of power to get that for them.
